The German Grand Prix provides a fast and attractive venue in the Formula One World Championship.

Situated in the Rhine valley, the circuit is almost completely flat, with very little change in elevation. A number of modifications have been made from 2000- onwards, apparent in a shortening of the circuit. The new design with the hairpin preceding the long back straight creates an additional great overtaking opportunity.
